Who We Are

Our Management Team

Heather JackHeather Jack, Managing Partner, is a graduate of Middlebury College and holds an MBA from Babson College. Heather's experience includes founding a nonprofit called The Volunteer Family, which helps families, especially those with children, find volunteer opportunities that they can do together. Heather also has extensive nonprofit and for-profit development and marketing experience. She brings 15 years professional practice writing and reviewing grant proposals. Additionally, she manages a program that encourages and teaches youth about community needs and the importance of effective charitable giving. She lives in Ashland with her husband and two children.

 

Heather RogersHeather Rogers, Managing Partner, is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire and holds a Master of Science in Finance from Suffolk University. Heather brings over a decade of experience to MNSS, including corporate finance as well as nonprofit finance and accounting, operations management, IT and database management and revenue recognition. She resides in Ashland with her husband and daughter. Heather is active in her community where she currently serves as co-chair for the town finance committee.

 

 

 

Wendy ConnorsWendy Connors, Partner, is a graduate of Skidmore College and Stanford University's Graduate School of Education. She brings 15 years experience increasing and improving philanthropy, working with organizations such as the Catalogue for Philanthropy and The Philanthropic Initiative in Boston. She has developed an expertise in foundation management, including administering grants, setting funding priorities, analyzing and maintaining fiscal records, and monitoring legal requirements; and serves on the boards of Stride Foundation and the Spears Family Foundation. Prior to moving to Boston, Wendy managed a multi-service early childhood program serving disadvantaged families living in New York City. She lives with her husband and two daughters in Lincoln.

Our associates bring a diverse range of experience to MNSS. The team has attained expertise in organizations such as the National Foundation for Cancer Research, the Institue for Higher Education Policy, Massaschusetts Nonprofit Network, the Institute for Nonprofit Development, Polaroid Corporation, Thompson Island Outward Bound, and From The Top. Their skills encompass strategic and business planning, financial management, budgeting, social marketing, fundraising, including the solicitation of major gifts and grant writing, as well as the management of technology for small and large nonprofits.
